In 2008, I voted for Obama basically because he is black.
I wanted to be a part of the revolutionary movement to change world history. It worked, and I still feel great.
I plan to vote for him again, because I believe he is an honest and deeply caring man; otherwise, why would his hair go grey? His story is one of our country’s proudest moments.
I’m not sure he can really do anything to heal the American Dream, but I still love the guy.
I like to be sincere about the reasons I support the president, but there are many Obama supporters who choose a different tack. I find it utterly fascinating and hilarious to hear these supporters bullshit and posture their way around admitting the real reason they’re voting for Obama. I think you will, too.

I always thought he was a decent human being, it’s just the lack of fulfillment of what he promised that makes me less comfortable with him this time around. You summed it up perfectly though for reasons a lot of people don’t want to admit: Blacks and Hispanics didn’t get Barrack Obama elected, white people did. White people were so fed up with the last affluent old white man, who ruined everything for future old affluent white men, that white voters bypassed electing a white woman president, and went directly for the most opposite thing. Conservative republicans had better start looking at themselves honestly soon, and start thinking about how bad neoconservatives have been for their cause, to have led to white people in the mainstream saying: “fuck it, lets see what the black guy does”.
Can someone please explain to this Canadian why free healthcare is a bad thing? Thanks.

I like the interviews with rednecks about how Obama is going to take away their guns. Their earnest fear is really something to see. HAHAHAHA
So what? Plenty of people won’t vote for him because he is black.
Also, Tom Sawyer – most Americans are completely ignorant about health care in Canada or Britain. Yes, it’s not perfect – but it’s a way better system than you guys have.
