Did you hear about Chevy Chase having maybe or maybe not used the N-word (“n****r”) on the set of some TV show he’s on but even if he did he was just protesting his character’s bigoted ways so it wasn’t meant to be racist but it could have been if he meant it to be so racism didn’t happen but it could have happened and it’s all “unsettling” to think that racism might have happened and there were two “African-American” actors there who were black and therefore probably incapable of understanding irony and context when he said it so the whole thing was just a racially charged mess even though no racism occurred but it could have if it did but it didn’t but, still, Chase might have used the N-word but we don’t know for sure if he did but, and I quote, “still, the use of the word is unsettling” according to the brave investigative journalist who wrote the article even if said in a manner that was meant to complain about the word’s racistism in a private conversation on a TV show that no one’s ever heard of set.
I don’t know about you but I am still really, really unsettled.

He had an experience early in his life where he was robbed by some African American fellows, the instigator being from the south side of Chicago, during a cross country trip with his family. So if he’s racist, he wasn’t born that way.
