Apparently Street Boners photographer Vincent Dermody has a memoir coming out today. Unretouched Proof, a collection of journals, sketches and collected material, is being published by Silver Galleon Press, who are also throwing this book release in Dermody’s hometown of Chicago. There’ll be free art activities and gifts, and Dermody will be on the phone from his new home in Ridgewood, Queens, to give readings, field questions and I guess explain why he isn’t there in person.

ever notice how none of these writers can put together a cohesive extended narrative with character development/competent allegories/scope/etc. it’s always “here’s a collection of a bunch of shit I did, and i know its a jumbled mess, but that’s what makes it so ‘real’”
