Do you like clever Jewish people and also a guy who used to be a Jehovah’s Witness who voices the zombie roommate in Ugly Americans and also SNL’s Kate McKinnon? Do you like drinking alcohol in swanky environs alongside people wearing trendy clothing and jewelry you are kind of turned off yet mesmerized by? Do you think you could do standup if only you had some time to write a killer set of your most genius observations, yet you have a kid or simply care too much about yourself to go down that road, but still secretly have a crush on the idea?
Then you must come to Entertaining The Bartender tonight. Jena Friedman, the creator of "Ted and Gracie" puts this show together every month. This lovely and brilliant lady wrote for David Letterman and has now very recently taken a new job writing for another TV show which is maybe kind of still secret information, but in my humble opinion, is a way cooler show than Letterman. Shhh.
I really like this girl. I really like this show. If you like me and you like girls and you like laughing at inappropriate things and you like shows, you should get your butt off that bean-bag chair and get down to the Breslin at ACE Hotel tonight at 9 PM to see this hipster eye bang fest, I mean, comedy show. This one’s different than those other ones. Promise.
