Insane Clown Posse is threatening to sue the FBI for classifying their followers—variously known as Juggalos, Juggalettes, and Juggalidiots—as gang members.
The Christian rappers, suspected by authorities of wearing face paint to hide the fact that they’re white, say they’re “nervious” about retaliation from the feds, whose 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment report described their followers as a “hybrid gang,” which is legal mumbo-jumbo meaning “a bunch of white kids in predominantly rural areas pretending to be black, even though most black people don’t seem to want to have anything to do with them.”
ICP has started a website, JuggalosFightBack.com, that offers a free “legal review” to any Juggalo, Juggalette, or Juggalimbecile who suspects that police may have profiled them as a gang member. The site contains a questionnaire that will enable ICP’s crack legal team—and even we’re not sure what “crack” means in this case—can “assist you in getting the legal help that you deserve as a Juggalo.”
