Punk’s not dead — it’s just being raised on PCP in East Brooklyn, where the trucks are driven by two-faced tigers and Molotov cocktails explode into fireworks, confetti and balloons.

Or at least that’s what’s going on in The Death Set’s new music video for “Slap Slap Slap Pound Up Down Snap,” the new single off their forthcoming LP Michel Poiccard. (Buy the single here.)
The video was directed by Colin Devin Moore and is about on a handshake of the same name. The video follows up the single with half of “Yo David Chase! You P.O.V. Shot Me in the Head (feat. Diplo),” another song of Death Set’s new LP.
So yeah, punk’s not dead. It just got fun.
and by fun you mean not good
This video fucking ruled.
Now that music can be fun again, can we also make it like, musical, as in, like, with actual singing and some semblance of melody? It don’t have to be faggy and sweet, but you know, a change in pitch would be welcome sometime during a, let’s call it for argument’s sake, I dunno, “song”.
It aint no “Movin Out”
barf. a bad beastie boys impersonation that even breaks down into hello brooklyn for a second about a gay handshake. thats fun for you?
i like how fake adrock can BARELY pick that amp up. dont hurt yourself lil man.
Yeah! I love Age Of Chance!
How old are these guys? Like 30? They sound like hyperactive 10 year olds covering the Beastie Boys.
As punk as a visit to your local American Apparel store… Cunts…
East Williamsburg is Bushwick. What are you, in real estate?
oh shit, it said east brooklyn. fuck. well, that’s called long island, so there.
“east brooklyn. fuck. well, that’s called long island”
That’s called wrong.
THIS VIDEO = RAD.
very, very bad…
isn’t having a music video that’s directed and all that stuff the least punk thing you can do?
This was the worst piece of shit garbage I’ve ever listened to. But then again, everytime I go onto this site, I’m introduced to an even steamier pile of shit. At least you guys are consistent. You know, with shit.
