Computers are good at selecting songs you’d want to hear based on various criteria but pictures are still a human’s game. Those “What celebrity do you look like?” apps can’t even get race and gender right but my favorite place computers drop the ball is the stock photos it selects for ads. I’ve been doing screen grabs every time I see a good one and was waiting until I got 10 but I can’t hold it in any longer.

Normally photos are chosen on purpose by web marketers ON PURPOSE to look strange and out of place. It is how they get people’s attention away from what they want, and towards the ad. The pics yuo have shown have been A/B tested likely thousands of times to ‘stand out’ and get clicks. Sorry to burst your bubble, they are not stock photo fails.
