It isn’t just the woman-run media after him. It’s the police commisioner and mayors wives and their mistresses pushing them to break up this holy union. Can’t you women, and handfull of men, just obey Gary’s Nell Carter plea of “Gimme a break”.
Do you think when Gary’s in bed with his “wife” at night, you know doing a crossword puzzle as she watches Lipstick Jungle, he’ll turn to her and say (looking over his reading glasses) “Do you feel like getting romantic tonight?” Because that is guaranteed to make any woman relatively moist in her romantic parts.
